Hokkaido is the place for extremely fresh seafoods, especially in seaport cities like Otaru! Otaru Masa Zushi - you can have a decent set course meal for a reasonable price.And Kaisendon (a bowl of rice topped with sashimi) in a local market. I also introduce a fried chicken and a beer hall.

The Sapporo Snow Festival is an annual festival which lasts more than one week. It has nearly 60 years of history, and it attracts 2 million tourists every year. Today, I will show you what I could see and experience just a few days before the festival when hotels are far cheaper :)

[Hokkaido and Okinawa] why are they so fascinating? These opposite areas are quite different from the rest of Japan!

These 2 regions are at exactly opposite ends of Japan. Hokkaido is cold and Okinawa has a tropical climate. However, They have a certain kind of atmosphere in common - "somewhat new to Japan”. I also wrote about what you can expect in these 2 regions.
